Outlook send email later
The convenience of scheduling emails in Outlook!
To send an email later in Outlook, you can use the "Delay Delivery" feature. Here's how:
Method 1: Using the "Delay Delivery" button
- Compose your email as you normally would.
- Click the "Send" button, but don't click "Send" yet.
- In the "Send" tab, click the "Delay Delivery" button.
- Choose the date and time you want the email to be sent.
- Click "OK" to save the changes.
- Click "Send" to send the email at the scheduled time.
Method 2: Using the "Rules" feature
- Compose your email as you normally would.
- Click the "Rules" button in the "Home" tab.
- Click "Create Rule" and select "Move messages from 'To-Do' folder to 'Sent Items' folder".
- Click "Specify" and select the date and time you want the email to be sent.
- Click "OK" to save the rule.
- Move the email to the "To-Do" folder.
Method 3: Using the "Scheduling" feature
- Compose your email as you normally would.
- Click the "File" menu and select "Properties".
- In the "Properties" window, click the "Scheduling" tab.
- Select the date and time you want the email to be sent.
- Click "OK" to save the changes.
- Click "Send" to send the email at the scheduled time.
In all cases, the email will be sent at the scheduled time, even if you're not actively using your computer.
