To pull back an email in Outlook, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the "Undo Send" feature
- Open Outlook and go to the "Sent Items" folder.
- Find the email you want to pull back and right-click on it.
- Select "Undo Send" from the context menu.
- If the email has already been sent, you'll see a prompt asking if you're sure you want to undo the send. Click "Yes" to confirm.
Method 2: Using the "Recall This Message" feature
- Open Outlook and go to the "Sent Items" folder.
- Find the email you want to pull back and right-click on it.
- Select "Recall This Message" from the context menu.
- In the "Recall This Message" dialog box, select the option to "Delete unread copies of this message" and click "OK".
Method 3: Using the "Move to Folder" feature
- Open Outlook and go to the "Sent Items" folder.
- Find the email you want to pull back and drag it to the "Drafts" folder.
- Alternatively, you can right-click on the email and select "Move to Folder" > "Drafts" to move it to the Drafts folder.
Note: The "Undo Send" feature is only available if you have enabled it in your Outlook settings. To do this, go to File > Options > Mail > Send and select the "Turn on Undo Send" checkbox.
