Request read receipt mac mail
To request a read receipt in Mac Mail, you can follow these steps:
- Compose a new email or open an existing one.
- Click on the "View" menu at the top of the screen.
- Select "Request Receipt" from the drop-down menu.
- A window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to request a read receipt. Click "OK" to confirm.
- The recipient will receive a notification asking them to confirm whether they have read the email. If they do, they will receive a read receipt notification.
Alternatively, you can also request a read receipt by using the "Request Receipt" button in the "Message" menu. To do this:
- Compose a new email or open an existing one.
- Click on the "Message" menu at the top of the screen.
- Select "Request Receipt" from the drop-down menu.
- A window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to request a read receipt. Click "OK" to confirm.
- The recipient will receive a notification asking them to confirm whether they have read the email. If they do, they will receive a read receipt notification.
Note that the recipient must have a compatible email client and have enabled read receipts in order for this feature to work.
