According to Royal Mail's website, the redelivery times for missed or undelivered items vary depending on the type of item and the service used. Here are some general guidelines:
Standard Delivery (1st Class and 2nd Class):
- If an item is not delivered on the first attempt, Royal Mail will try to redeliver it the next working day (Monday to Friday).
- If the item is still not delivered, it will be taken to the local delivery office for collection.
Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm and Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am:
- If an item is not delivered on the first attempt, Royal Mail will try to redeliver it the same day (Monday to Friday) for Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm, and the next working day for Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am.
