Royal Mail Track & Trace is a service provided by the Royal Mail, the UK's postal service, to help track and monitor the progress of your mail and parcels. Here's how it works:
How to use Royal Mail Track & Trace:
- Enter the tracking number: Go to the Royal Mail website (www.royalmail.com) and click on "Track a parcel" or "Track a letter".
- Enter the tracking number: Enter the 13-digit tracking number (also known as the barcode) found on your parcel or letter.
- Select the tracking option: Choose the tracking option that suits your needs:
- Track & Trace: Get updates on the progress of your parcel or letter, including the date and time of delivery.
- Track & Sign: Get updates on the progress of your parcel or letter, including the date and time of delivery, and a signature from the recipient.
- View tracking updates: Once you've entered the tracking number and selected the tracking option, you'll be able to view updates on the progress of your parcel or letter.
What can you track with Royal Mail Track & Trace?
You can track the following types of mail and parcels using Royal Mail Track & Trace:
- Parcels sent via Royal Mail's parcel services, including Parcelforce, Royal Mail 24, and Royal Mail 48.
- Letters sent via Royal Mail's letter services, including 1st Class and 2nd Class.
- International parcels and letters sent via Royal Mail's international services.
Tips and limitations:
- Make sure to enter the tracking number correctly, as incorrect entries may not provide accurate tracking updates.
- Tracking updates may not be available for all types of mail and parcels, especially those sent via non-trackable services.
