Royal Mail's Track and Trace service allows you to track the progress of your mail and parcels in real-time. Here's how it works:
How to use Royal Mail Track and Trace:
- Visit the Royal Mail website: Go to the Royal Mail website (www.royalmail.com) and click on "Track a parcel" at the top of the page.
- Enter your tracking number: Enter your tracking number (also known as a barcode or consignment number) in the required field. You can find this number on your dispatch confirmation email or on the packaging of your item.
- Select the tracking option: Choose the tracking option that best suits your needs:
- Track and Trace: Get updates on the status of your parcel, including the date and time of delivery.
- Track and Sign: Get updates on the status of your parcel, including the date and time of delivery, and a signature from the recipient.
- View your tracking updates: Once you've entered your tracking number and selected your tracking option, you'll be able to view the latest updates on the status of your parcel.
What information can you track?
With Royal Mail Track and Trace, you can track the following information:
- Delivery status: Get updates on the status of your parcel, including whether it's been delivered, is out for delivery, or is still in transit.
- Location: View the location of your parcel on a map, including the post office or delivery point.
- Estimated delivery date: Get an estimated delivery date for your parcel.
- Delivery time: Get an estimated delivery time for your parcel.
