A common issue!

If you're trying to arrange a redelivery of a parcel from Royal Mail, you can follow these steps:

  1. Track your parcel: First, track your parcel using the tracking number provided by Royal Mail. You can do this on the Royal Mail website or through their mobile app.
  2. Check the tracking status: Check the tracking status to see if the parcel is out for delivery or if it's been returned to a Royal Mail sorting office.
  3. Contact Royal Mail: If the parcel is out for delivery and you're not available to receive it, you can contact Royal Mail to arrange a redelivery. You can do this:
    • Online: Visit the Royal Mail website, click on "Track a parcel" and enter your tracking number. Then, click on "Redeliver" and follow the prompts.

    • In-person: Visit your local Royal Mail post office and speak to a member of staff.
  4. Provide your details: When you contact Royal Mail, you'll need to provide your name, address, and tracking number.
  5. Choose a redelivery option: Royal Mail will offer you a range of redelivery options, including:
    • Redelivery to a different address
    • Redelivery to a neighbour or a safe location
    • Collection from a Royal Mail sorting office
    • Redelivery at a specific time (if available)
  6. Confirm the redelivery: Once you've chosen your redelivery option, confirm the details with Royal Mail and wait for your parcel to be redelivered.
