Schedule email send outlook

In Outlook, you can schedule an email to be sent at a later time using the "Delay Delivery" feature. Here's how:

Method 1: Using the "Delay Delivery" button

  1. Compose your email as you normally would.
  2. Click the "Send" button, but don't click "Send" yet.
  3. In the "Send" tab, click the "Delay Delivery" button.
  4. In the "Delay Delivery" dialog box, select the date and time you want the email to be sent.
  5. Click "OK" to schedule the email.

Method 2: Using the "Options" button

  1. Compose your email as you normally would.
  2. Click the "Options" button in the "Tags" group.
  3. In the "Options" dialog box, click the "Delay Delivery" button.
  4. In the "Delay Delivery" dialog box, select the date and time you want the email to be sent.
  5. Click "OK" to schedule the email.

Method 3: Using the "Rules" feature

  1. Go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
  2. Click the "Rules" button in the "Move" group.
  3. Click "Manage Rules & Alerts".
  4. Click "New Rule".
  5. Select "Start from a blank rule" and click "Next".
  6. Select "Delay delivery by a number of minutes" and click "Next".
  7. Set the delay time and click "Next".
  8. Click "Finish" to create the rule.

In all cases, the email will be sent at the scheduled time, even if you're not connected to the internet or if you close Outlook.
