Share google doc without gmail account

While Google Drive and Google Docs are tightly integrated with Gmail, it is possible to share a Google Doc without having a Gmail account. Here are a few ways to do so:

Method 1: Share the document via a link

  1. Open the Google Doc you want to share.
  2. Click on the "Share" button in the top right corner.
  3. Click on "Get link" and then "Copy link".
  4. Share the link with the person you want to share the document with. They can access the document by clicking on the link.

Method 2: Create a Google account without a Gmail address

  1. Go to the Google Account sign-up page and click on "Create account".
  2. Choose "Use my current email address instead" and enter a non-Gmail email address (e.g., @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com, etc.).
  3. Fill out the rest of the sign-up form and create a new Google account.
  4. Once you've created the account, you can share the Google Doc using the methods above.

Method 3: Use a Google Drive link

  1. Open the Google Drive folder that contains the Google Doc you want to share.
  2. Right-click on the document and select "Get link".
  3. Copy the link and share it with the person you want to share the document with.
  4. They can access the document by clicking on the link.

Method 4: Use a third-party file-sharing service

  1. Upload the Google Doc to a third-party file-sharing service like Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, or WeTransfer.
  2. Share the link to the file-sharing service with the person you want to share the document with.
  3. They can access the document by clicking on the link.

Keep in mind that while you can share a Google Doc without a Gmail account, the person you're sharing with will still need to have a Google account to edit the document. If you want to allow non-Google account holders to edit the document, you may need to consider using a different collaboration tool or service.
