Share google doc without gmail account
While Google Drive and Google Docs are tightly integrated with Gmail, it is possible to share a Google Doc without having a Gmail account. Here are a few ways to do so:
Method 1: Share the document via a link
- Open the Google Doc you want to share.
- Click on the "Share" button in the top right corner.
- Click on "Get link" and then "Copy link".
- Share the link with the person you want to share the document with. They can access the document by clicking on the link.
Method 2: Create a Google account without a Gmail address
- Go to the Google Account sign-up page and click on "Create account".
- Choose "Use my current email address instead" and enter a non-Gmail email address (e.g., @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com, etc.).
- Fill out the rest of the sign-up form and create a new Google account.
- Once you've created the account, you can share the Google Doc using the methods above.
Method 3: Use a Google Drive link
- Open the Google Drive folder that contains the Google Doc you want to share.
- Right-click on the document and select "Get link".
- Copy the link and share it with the person you want to share the document with.
- They can access the document by clicking on the link.
Method 4: Use a third-party file-sharing service
- Upload the Google Doc to a third-party file-sharing service like Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, or WeTransfer.
- Share the link to the file-sharing service with the person you want to share the document with.
- They can access the document by clicking on the link.
Keep in mind that while you can share a Google Doc without a Gmail account, the person you're sharing with will still need to have a Google account to edit the document. If you want to allow non-Google account holders to edit the document, you may need to consider using a different collaboration tool or service.
