Squarespace mailing list

Squarespace offers a built-in email marketing tool that allows you to create and manage a mailing list for your website. Here's an overview of how to use Squarespace's mailing list feature:

Creating a Mailing List

  1. Log in to your Squarespace account and go to the "Settings" icon (looks like a gear) in the top right corner.
  2. Click on "Marketing" and then "Email Marketing" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on "Create a Mailing List" and enter a name for your list.
  4. Add a description for your list (optional).
  5. Set the list's visibility to "Public" or "Private" (public lists are visible to anyone who visits your website, while private lists are only visible to you and those you invite).
  6. Click "Create" to create the mailing list.

Adding Subscribers

  1. To add subscribers to your mailing list, go to the "Subscribers" tab in the Email Marketing section.
  2. Click on "Add Subscribers" and enter the email addresses of the people you want to add to your list.
  3. You can also import a list of subscribers from a CSV file or connect your mailing list to a third-party service like Mailchimp.
  4. Click "Add" to add the subscribers to your list.

Creating an Email Campaign

  1. To create an email campaign, go to the "Email Campaigns" tab in the Email Marketing section.
  2. Click on "Create a Campaign" and enter a name for your campaign.
  3. Choose a template for your email campaign or start from scratch.
  4. Design your email using Squarespace's drag-and-drop editor.
  5. Add content, images, and links to your email as needed.
  6. Click "Save" to save your email campaign.

Sending an Email Campaign

  1. To send an email campaign, go to the "Email Campaigns" tab and click on the campaign you want to send.
  2. Click on "Send" to send the email campaign to your subscribers.
  3. You can also schedule your email campaign to send at a later time.

Managing Your Mailing List

  1. To manage your mailing list, go to the "Subscribers" tab in the Email Marketing section.
  2. You can view your subscribers, edit their information, or remove them from your list.
  3. You can also view your email campaign statistics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and unsubscribe rates.
