Strike out text in outlook email
To strike out text in an Outlook email, you can use the "Strikethrough" formatting option. Here's how:
Method 1: Using the Ribbon
- Open your Outlook email and place your cursor where you want to strike out the text.
- Go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on the "Font" group and then click on the "Strikethrough" button (it looks like a horizontal line with a strike-through).
Method 2: Using the Keyboard Shortcut
- Open your Outlook email and place your cursor where you want to strike out the text.
- Press "Ctrl + 5" on your keyboard. This will apply the strikethrough formatting to the selected text.
Method 3: Using the Font Dialog Box
- Open your Outlook email and place your cursor where you want to strike out the text.
- Right-click on the text and select "Font" from the context menu.
- In the "Font" dialog box, click on the "Effects" tab.
- Check the box next to "Strikethrough" to apply the formatting.
Once you've applied the strikethrough formatting, the text will be struck out with a horizontal line. You can also use this formatting to strike out multiple lines of text by selecting the text and then applying the strikethrough formatting.
