Strike out text in outlook email

To strike out text in an Outlook email, you can use the "Strikethrough" formatting option. Here's how:

Method 1: Using the Ribbon

  1. Open your Outlook email and place your cursor where you want to strike out the text.
  2. Go to the "Home" tab in the ribbon.
  3. Click on the "Font" group and then click on the "Strikethrough" button (it looks like a horizontal line with a strike-through).

Method 2: Using the Keyboard Shortcut

  1. Open your Outlook email and place your cursor where you want to strike out the text.
  2. Press "Ctrl + 5" on your keyboard. This will apply the strikethrough formatting to the selected text.

Method 3: Using the Font Dialog Box

  1. Open your Outlook email and place your cursor where you want to strike out the text.
  2. Right-click on the text and select "Font" from the context menu.
  3. In the "Font" dialog box, click on the "Effects" tab.
  4. Check the box next to "Strikethrough" to apply the formatting.

Once you've applied the strikethrough formatting, the text will be struck out with a horizontal line. You can also use this formatting to strike out multiple lines of text by selecting the text and then applying the strikethrough formatting.
