Talktalk mail settings for ipad
To set up your TalkTalk email account on your iPad, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the Settings app
- Tap the "Settings" app icon on your iPad's home screen.
Step 2: Tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
- Scroll down and tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".
Step 3: Add a new account
- Tap on "Add Account" at the top right corner of the screen.
Step 4: Select "Other"
- Tap on "Other" as the account type.
Step 5: Enter your email account details
- Enter the following information:
- "Account Type": IMAP
- "Description": Your name (e.g., John Smith)
- "Username": Your TalkTalk email address (e.g., [email protected])
- "Password": Your TalkTalk email password
- "Host Name": mail.talktalk.co.uk
- "Port": 993 (for SSL) or 143 (for non-SSL)
- Tap "Next" when you've entered all the details.
Step 6: Set up the incoming and outgoing mail servers
- Tap on "Incoming Mail Server" and enter the following information:
- "Host Name": mail.talktalk.co.uk
- "User Name": Your TalkTalk email address (e.g., [email protected])
- "Password": Your TalkTalk email password
- Tap "Next" when you've entered all the details.
- Repeat the same process for the "Outgoing Mail Server" section.
Step 7: Verify your account settings
- Review your account settings to ensure everything is correct.
- Tap "Save" to save your changes.
Step 8: Set up your email account
- Your TalkTalk email account should now be set up on your iPad.
- You can access your email by tapping on the "Mail" app icon on your iPad's home screen.
