Throw away email address gmail

You want to get rid of a Gmail account!

Before you do, make sure you've taken care of a few things:

  1. Delete or forward important emails: Check your inbox and delete or forward any important emails you don't want to lose. You can also set up filters to forward emails to another account.
  2. Cancel any subscriptions or services: If you've used your Gmail account to sign up for services or subscriptions, you'll need to cancel them and update your login credentials.
  3. Remove account linking: If you've linked your Gmail account to other services, such as Google Drive, Google Photos, or Google Calendar, you'll need to remove those links.
  4. Delete any connected devices: If you've used your Gmail account to sign in to devices or apps, you'll need to remove those devices and sign in with a different account.
