Thunderbird email password change

To change your email password in Thunderbird, follow these steps:

Method 1: Change password through Thunderbird

1. Open Thunderbird and go to the "Account Settings" window by clicking on "Tools" > "Account Settings" or pressing Ctrl + Shift + B.
2. Select the email account you want to change the password for and click on the "Edit" button next to it.
3. Click on the "Server Settings" tab and then click on the "Edit" button next to "Username and Password".
4. Enter your new password in the "Password" field and confirm it in the "Repeat Password" field.
5. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Method 2: Change password through email provider's website

1. Go to your email provider's website (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook) and sign in with your current email address and password.
2. Look for the "Account" or "Settings" section and click on it.
3. Find the "Password" or "Security" section and click on it.
4. Follow the instructions to change your password.
5. Once you've changed your password, go back to Thunderbird and restart the email client.
