U.s.p's first class mail rates 2014
According to the United States Postal Service (USPS), the first-class mail rates for 2014 were as follows:
Letters (1 oz.)
- Domestic: $0.46
- International: $1.10
Large Envelopes (1 oz.)
- Domestic: $0.96
- International: $2.15
Postcards
- Domestic: $0.34
- International: $1.05
Letters (additional ounces)
- Domestic: $0.21 per ounce (after the first ounce)
- International: $0.55 per ounce (after the first ounce)
Letters (metered mail)
- Domestic: $0.46 (plus the cost of the metered postage)
- International: $1.10 (plus the cost of the metered postage)
Notes:
- These rates apply to mail sent from January 26, 2014, to January 25, 2015.
- The USPS increased the cost of first-class mail rates by 1 cent for letters and 3 cents for large envelopes on January 26, 2014.
- The rates listed above do not include any additional fees or surcharges that may apply, such as extra postage for oversized or irregularly shaped mailpieces.
