Undo in google mail
The sweet relief of being able to undo a mistake in Gmail!
In Gmail, you can undo a sent email or a deleted message within a short period of time. Here's how:
Undo Send:
- Go to your Gmail account and compose a new email.
- Before sending the email, click on the "Send" button.
- You'll see a confirmation dialog box with an "Undo" button.
- Click on the "Undo" button to recall the email.
Note: The "Undo Send" feature is only available for a short period of time, typically 5-30 seconds, depending on your account settings.
Undo Delete:
- Go to your Gmail account and navigate to the "Trash" or "Spam" folder.
- Find the deleted message you want to restore.
- Click on the "Restore" button next to the message.
- Confirm that you want to restore the message.
Note: You can only restore messages from the "Trash" or "Spam" folder, not from the "Deleted Messages" folder.
Enable Undo Send:
If you want to enable the "Undo Send" feature permanently, follow these steps:
- Go to your Gmail account settings by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right corner.
- Click on "See all settings."
- Scroll down to the "General" tab.
- Look for the "Undo Send" option and toggle it on.
- Choose the time period you want the "Undo Send" feature to be available (5, 10, 20, or 30 seconds).
Remember that the "Undo Send" feature is only available for a short period of time, so act quickly if you need to recall an email!
