When will 3rd stimulus checks arrive in mail
There is no third stimulus check. The two stimulus checks that were sent out were:
- The Economic Impact Payment (EIP) of up to $1,200 per individual and $2,400 per married couple, plus $500 per child, which was part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, signed into law on March 27, 2020.
- The second stimulus check, which was part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, signed into law on December 27, 2020. This check was worth up to $600 per individual and $1,200 per married couple, plus $600 per child.
There has been no announcement or legislation passed to provide a third stimulus check. However, there are ongoing discussions and proposals in Congress to provide additional economic relief, including potential stimulus checks, but nothing has been finalized or sent to the President for signature.
