Where archived mail go in gmail

In Gmail, archived emails are moved to a special folder called "All Mail" (not to be confused with the "Inbox" folder). This folder contains all emails in your Gmail account, including those that have been archived, starred, labeled, or deleted.

When you archive an email, it's removed from your inbox and moved to the "All Mail" folder. This means that the email is still stored in your Gmail account, but it's no longer visible in your inbox.

Here's where you can find archived emails in Gmail:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "More" menu (represented by three vertical dots) in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Select "All Mail" from the dropdown menu.

In the "All Mail" folder, you'll see all your archived emails, including those that have been labeled, starred, or deleted. You can use the search bar at the top of the page to find specific emails or use filters to organize your archived emails.

Note that archived emails are not deleted permanently. They're still stored in your Gmail account and can be restored to your inbox if needed.
