Where do i mail my ein application

You can submit your Employer Identification Number (EIN) application online or by mail. Here are the mailing instructions:

Mailing Instructions:

  1. Complete Form SS-4, Application for Employer Identification Number, which can be downloaded from the IRS website or obtained by calling the IRS at 1-800-829-3676.
  2. Attach any required documentation, such as a copy of your business license or articles of incorporation.
  3. Mail the completed application and supporting documents to:

Online Submission:

You can also apply for an EIN online through the IRS website. To do so:

  1. Go to the IRS website at www.irs.gov.
  2. Click on "Apply for an Employer Identification Number (EIN)".
  3. Fill out the online application form.
  4. Submit the application and receive your EIN immediately.

Faxing:

You can also fax your application to the IRS at 1-267-941-1042. However, this method is only available for businesses that are already registered with the IRS.
