Where do i mail my ein application
You can submit your Employer Identification Number (EIN) application online or by mail. Here are the mailing instructions:
Mailing Instructions:
- Complete Form SS-4, Application for Employer Identification Number, which can be downloaded from the IRS website or obtained by calling the IRS at 1-800-829-3676.
- Attach any required documentation, such as a copy of your business license or articles of incorporation.
- Mail the completed application and supporting documents to:

Online Submission:
You can also apply for an EIN online through the IRS website. To do so:
- Go to the IRS website at www.irs.gov.
- Click on "Apply for an Employer Identification Number (EIN)".
- Fill out the online application form.
- Submit the application and receive your EIN immediately.
Faxing:
You can also fax your application to the IRS at 1-267-941-1042. However, this method is only available for businesses that are already registered with the IRS.
Note:
- Make sure to sign and date the application before submitting it.
- Keep a copy of the application and supporting documents for your records.
- If you are applying for an EIN for a trust, estate, or partnership, you may need to provide additional documentation.
