Windows live mail stationery folder
A blast from the past!
In Windows Live Mail, the "Stationery" folder is a feature that allows you to customize the look and feel of your email messages. Here's how to access and use it:
Accessing the Stationery folder:
- Open Windows Live Mail.
- Click on the "View" menu and select "Layout" from the drop-down menu.
- In the Layout window, click on the "Stationery" tab.
- The Stationery folder will open, displaying a list of pre-designed stationery templates.
Using the Stationery folder:
- Select a stationery template from the list by clicking on it.
- The selected stationery will be applied to your email composition window.
- You can then compose your email using the chosen stationery template.
- To apply a different stationery template, simply select a new one from the list.
Creating your own stationery:
- Click on the "Create a new stationery" button at the bottom of the Stationery folder window.
- In the "Create a new stationery" window, choose a template or start from a blank page.
- Customize the stationery by adding your own images, text, and layout.
- Save your custom stationery by clicking "Save" and giving it a name.
Tips and tricks:
- You can also create your own stationery by designing a custom HTML page and saving it as a.html file. Then, add the file to the Stationery folder and it will be available for use.
- Some stationery templates may have specific requirements, such as a specific image size or layout, so be sure to check the template's instructions before using it.
- You can also use third-party stationery templates or create your own using a graphics editor like Microsoft Paint or Adobe Photoshop.
