To sign up for a Hotmail account, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Hotmail website at www.hotmail.com.
2. Click on the "Sign up" button located at the top right corner of the page.
3. Enter your first and last name, and your email address (which will be your new Hotmail address).
4. Choose a password and confirm it by re-entering it in the second field.
5. Enter your birthdate and gender.
6. Enter your country and region.
7. Click on the "Next" button.
8. You will receive a verification email at the email address you just created. Open the email and click on the verification link to activate your account.
9. Once your account is activated, you can log in to your Hotmail account using your email address and password.
