Yandex mail imap settings
To set up Yandex Mail using IMAP, you'll need to configure your email client with the following settings:
Server settings:
- Incoming mail server (IMAP): imap.yandex.com
- Port: 993 (SSL/TLS)
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.yandex.com
- Port: 587 (STARTTLS)
Authentication:
- Username: Your Yandex Mail username (e.g., your email address)
- Password: Your Yandex Mail password
Additional settings:
- Use SSL/TLS: Yes
- Use authentication: Yes
- Authentication method: Normal password
Here are the settings for popular email clients:
Thunderbird:
- Go to Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings
- Enter the following settings:
- Incoming: imap.yandex.com, Port 993, SSL/TLS
- Outgoing: smtp.yandex.com, Port 587, STARTTLS
- Click OK
Microsoft Outlook:
- Go to File > Account Settings > Account
- Click on "Manual setup or additional server types"
- Select "Internet E-mail"
- Enter the following settings:
- Incoming mail server: imap.yandex.com, Port 993, SSL/TLS
- Outgoing mail server: smtp.yandex.com, Port 587, STARTTLS
- Click Next and then Finish
Apple Mail:
- Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts
- Click on "Add Account"
- Select "Other Mail Account"
- Enter the following settings:
- Account type: IMAP
- Incoming mail server: imap.yandex.com, Port 993, SSL/TLS
- Outgoing mail server: smtp.yandex.com, Port 587, STARTTLS
- Click Create
Android Email Client:
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Add account
- Select "Other"
- Enter the following settings:
- Account type: IMAP
- Incoming mail server: imap.yandex.com, Port 993, SSL/TLS
- Outgoing mail server: smtp.yandex.com, Port 587, STARTTLS
- Click Next and then Finish
Remember to replace "your email address" with your actual Yandex Mail address and "your password" with your actual Yandex Mail password.
