Add one.com email to windows mail
To add a @one.com email account to Windows Mail, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open Windows Mail
- Click on the Start button and type "Windows Mail" in the search bar.
- Click on the "Windows Mail" icon to open the application.
Step 2: Click on "Accounts"
- In the Windows Mail window, click on the "Accounts" button located in the top left corner.
Step 3: Click on "Add account"
- In the "Accounts" window, click on the "Add account" button.
Step 4: Select "Manual setup or additional server types"
- In the "Add account" window, select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
Step 5: Select "POP or IMAP"
- In the "Choose an account type" window, select "POP or IMAP" and click "Next".
Step 6: Enter your email account settings
- In the "POP or IMAP settings" window, enter the following information:
- Your name: Enter your name as you want it to appear in the "From" field of your emails.
- Email address: Enter your @one.com email address.
- POP3 server: Enter "mail.one.com" (without quotes).
- POP3 username: Enter your @one.com email address.
- POP3 password: Enter your @one.com email password.
- IMAP server: Enter "mail.one.com" (without quotes).
- IMAP username: Enter your @one.com email address.
- IMAP password: Enter your @one.com email password.
- Click "Next" to continue.
Step 7: Set up your account
- In the "Account settings" window, you can choose to set up your account to use SSL/TLS encryption and to store your emails on the server.
- Click "Finish" to complete the setup process.
Step 8: Verify your account
- Windows Mail will attempt to connect to your @one.com email account. If everything is set up correctly, you should see a confirmation message.
- Click "OK" to close the "Account settings" window.
Your @one.com email account should now be set up in Windows Mail. You can access your emails by clicking on the "Inbox" button in the top left corner of the Windows Mail window.
