Aol mail forwarding 2020

The nostalgia!

AOL Mail Forwarding is a feature that allows you to forward your AOL email to another email address. Here's how it works in 2020:

Requirements:

  1. You need to have an active AOL account.
  2. You need to have a valid email address to forward your AOL email to.

How to set up AOL Mail Forwarding:

  1. Log in to your AOL account.
  2. Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear) in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Click on "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Forwarding" section.
  5. Click on "Add a forwarding address".
  6. Enter the email address you want to forward your AOL email to.
  7. Click "Save Changes".

What happens when you set up AOL Mail Forwarding:

  1. All incoming emails to your AOL account will be automatically forwarded to the email address you specified.
  2. You will no longer receive emails in your AOL inbox.
  3. You can still access your AOL account and view your email history, but you won't receive new emails.

Important notes:

  1. AOL Mail Forwarding is only available for AOL accounts that are not suspended or terminated.
  2. You can only forward your AOL email to a valid email address that is not already being used by another AOL account.
  3. AOL may delay or reject emails that are forwarded to your specified email address if they contain spam or viruses.
  4. AOL reserves the right to terminate or suspend your AOL account if you abuse the Mail Forwarding feature.

Alternative options:

If you're looking for alternative email forwarding services, you may want to consider the following options:

  1. Google's Gmail: You can set up email forwarding in Gmail by going to Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP > Add a forwarding address.
  2. Microsoft's Outlook.com: You can set up email forwarding in Outlook.com by going to Settings > View all Outlook settings > Mail > Forwarding.
  3. Other email providers: Many email providers offer email forwarding services. Check your provider's settings or documentation for more information.
