Australia post hold mail fees

Australia Post offers a Hold Mail service, which allows you to temporarily suspend mail delivery to your address while you're away. Here are the fees associated with this service:

Hold Mail Fees:

• Up to 14 days: Free
• 15-30 days: $2.50
• 31-60 days: $5.00
• 61-90 days: $10.00
• 91+ days: $15.00

Additional Fees:

• If you need to extend your Hold Mail period beyond the initial booking period, there may be an additional fee of $2.50 per 14-day period.
• If you need to cancel your Hold Mail booking, there may be a cancellation fee of $2.50.

How to Book Hold Mail:

To book Hold Mail, you can:

1. Visit the Australia Post website and log in to your account.
2. Click on "Manage Your Mail" and then "Hold Mail".
3. Enter your address and the dates you want to hold your mail.
4. Pay the applicable fee using your credit card or PayPal.

Important Notes:

• Hold Mail bookings can only be made online or by phone (13 13 18).
• You must have a valid Australia Post account to book Hold Mail.
• Hold Mail bookings can only be made for a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 90 days.
• If you have a PO Box, you cannot book Hold Mail for that address.
• If you have a mail redirection in place, you cannot book Hold Mail.
