How to configure the outlook mails

Configuring Outlook to manage your emails can be a bit tricky, but don't worry, I'm here to guide you through it. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to configure Outlook to manage your emails:

Step 1: Set up your email account

  1. Open Outlook and click on "File" > "Add Account" > "Manual setup or additional server types".
  2. Select "POP or IMAP" and click "Next".
  3. Enter your email address, password, and other account settings as required.
  4. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup.

Step 2: Configure your email account settings

  1. Go to "File" > "Account Settings" > "Account Settings" again.
  2. Select your email account and click "Change".
  3. In the "Change Account" window, enter your email address and password.
  4. Click "More Settings" and then "Outgoing Server".
  5. Select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and enter your email address and password.
  6. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Step 3: Set up your email account to use IMAP or POP

  1. Go to "File" > "Account Settings" > "Account Settings" again.
  2. Select your email account and click "Change".
  3. In the "Change Account" window, select "More Settings" and then "Advanced".
