How to delete already sent mail in gmail

Unfortunately, once you've sent an email in Gmail, it's not possible to delete it from the recipient's inbox. However, you can still delete the sent email from your own Gmail account. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "More" menu at the top of the page and select "Sent".
  3. Find the email you want to delete in the Sent folder.
  4. Check the box next to the email to select it.
  5. Click on the "Trash" button at the top of the page.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete the email by clicking "OK".

Method 2: Delete sent email from the Search bar

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Type "in:sent" in the search bar at the top of the page.
  3. Press Enter to search for all sent emails.
  4. Find the email you want to delete in the search results.
  5. Click on the "Trash" button next to the email.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete the email by clicking "OK".

Method 3: Delete sent email using the Gmail app

  1. Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on the "More" menu (three vertical dots) at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap on "Sent".
  4. Find the email you want to delete in the Sent folder.
  5. Swipe left on the email to delete it.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete the email by tapping "Delete" or "Move to Trash".

Note that deleting a sent email from your own account does not affect the recipient's ability to view or respond to the email.
