How to import outlook express mail

A blast from the past! Outlook Express was a popular email client in the early 2000s, but it's no longer supported by Microsoft. However, you can still import your Outlook Express mail into modern email clients like Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, or even web-based email services like Gmail or Yahoo Mail. Here are the steps:

Method 1: Importing into Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook and go to File > Open & Export > Import/Export.
  2. Select Import from another program or file and click Next.
  3. Choose Outlook Express as the file type and click Next.
  4. Select the folder you want to import (e.g., Inbox, Sent Items, etc.) and click Next.
  5. Choose the import format (e.g., PST, EML, or MSG) and click Finish.
  6. Follow the prompts to complete the import process.

Method 2: Importing into Mozilla Thunderbird

  1. Open Mozilla Thunderbird and go to File > Import.
  2. Select Outlook Express as the file type and click Next.
  3. Choose the folder you want to import (e.g., Inbox, Sent Items, etc.) and click Next.
  4. Select the import format (e.g., EML or MSG) and click Finish.
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the import process.

Method 3: Importing into Gmail or Yahoo Mail
