How to know that receipient of mail has read it

Unfortunately, there's no foolproof way to know for certain that the recipient of an email has read it. However, here are some methods that can give you an indication:

  1. Read Receipt: Some email providers, like Gmail, allow you to request a read receipt. When you send an email with a read receipt request, the recipient's email client will send a notification back to you when they open the email. This feature is not available for all email providers, and some recipients may not have it enabled.
  2. Delivery and Read Receipts: Some email providers, like Microsoft Outlook, offer delivery and read receipts. These receipts will notify you when the email is delivered to the recipient's inbox and when they open it.
  3. Tracking: Some email providers, like Gmail, offer tracking features that allow you to see when an email is opened and which links are clicked.
  4. Email Client Features: Some email clients, like Microsoft Outlook, have features that allow you to see when an email is read. For example, Outlook's "Read Receipt" feature can be enabled in the email settings.
  5. Third-Party Tools: There are third-party tools and plugins available that can help you track email opens and reads. For example, Mailchimp's email tracking feature allows you to see when an email is opened and which links are clicked.
  6. Follow-up Emails: If you don't receive a response to your email, you can send a follow-up email to check if the recipient has read your initial email.
  7. Phone or Video Call: If you need to confirm that the recipient has read your email, you can try calling or scheduling a video call to discuss the matter.

Keep in mind that these methods are not foolproof, and there's always a chance that the recipient may not have read your email even if you receive a read receipt or tracking notification.
