How to sort mails in gmail by date

There are a few ways to sort emails in Gmail by date:

Method 1: Using the "Date" filter

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Inbox" tab.
  3. Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" link at the top of the page.
  4. Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
  5. In the "From" field, enter @ (this will apply the filter to all emails).
  6. In the "Has the words" field, enter date.
  7. Click on the "Create filter" button.
  8. In the "Apply the label" dropdown menu, select "Date".
  9. Click on the "Apply" button.

This will apply a filter to all emails in your inbox, sorting them by date.

Method 2: Using the "Date" label

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Inbox" tab.
  3. Click on the "Labels" link at the top of the page.
  4. Click on the "New label" button.
