Prodigy mail telmex prodigy infinitum

A blast from the past!

Prodigy was a pioneering internet service provider (ISP) in the United States, founded in 1984. In the early 1990s, Prodigy was one of the first commercial ISPs to offer internet access to the general public. At its peak, Prodigy had over 3 million subscribers.

In 1999, Prodigy was acquired by SBC Communications (now AT&T), and in 2001, the Prodigy brand was phased out. However, the Prodigy name still holds a special place in the history of the internet.

Now, about Telmex and Infinitum:

Telmex is a Mexican telecommunications company that was founded in 1947. In 2000, Telmex acquired Prodigy, and in 2003, it launched Prodigy Infinitum, a high-speed internet service in Mexico.

Prodigy Infinitum was a broadband internet service that offered speeds of up to 1 Mbps (megabit per second) and was marketed as a high-speed alternative to dial-up internet. The service was popular in Mexico, particularly among businesses and individuals who needed faster internet speeds.

Although Prodigy Infinitum is no longer a separate brand, Telmex continues to offer internet services in Mexico under various brands, including Infinitum and Movistar.
