Recall email in hotmail

The nostalgia!

Hotmail, now known as Outlook.com, has a feature called "Recall" that allows you to retract an email that you've sent to someone. Here's how to do it:

Note: This feature only works if the recipient has not yet opened the email, and it's only available for a limited time after sending the email.

  1. Log in to your Hotmail (Outlook.com) account.
  2. Go to the "Sent" folder and find the email you want to recall.
  3. Click on the email to open it.
  4. Click on the three dots (⋯) at the top right corner of the email.
  5. Select "Recall this message" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Choose whether you want to "Delete unread copies of this message" or "Delete the entire conversation" (if you've sent multiple emails in the same conversation).
  7. Click "Recall" to confirm.

The email will be recalled, and the recipient will not receive it. However, if the recipient has already opened the email, the recall feature won't work, and the email will remain in their inbox.

Keep in mind that the recall feature is not foolproof, and there's no guarantee that the recipient won't have already read the email or taken some other action with it.
