Sky mail outlook settings
To set up Sky Mail (also known as Outlook.com) on your device, you'll need to configure your email account settings. Here are the steps:
Outlook.com (Sky Mail) Settings:
Incoming Mail Server:
- Server: outlook.office365.com
- Port: 993
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Authentication: SSL/TLS
Outgoing Mail Server:
- Server: smtp.office365.com
- Port: 587
- Encryption: TLS
- Authentication: TLS
Username and Password:
- Username: Your Sky Mail email address (e.g., [yourname]@outlook.com)
- Password: Your Sky Mail email password
Additional Settings:
- IMAP: Yes (if you want to sync your email, contacts, and calendar)
- SMTP Authentication: Yes
- Leave a copy of messages on the server: No (optional)
Device-Specific Settings:
- Android:
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Add account > Outlook.com
- Enter your Sky Mail email address and password
- Tap "Next" and then "Sign in"
- iPhone/iPad:
- Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account
- Select "Other" and then "Add Mail Account"
- Enter your Sky Mail email address and password
- Tap "Next" and then "Save"
- Windows 10:
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts > Add an account
- Select "Outlook.com" and enter your Sky Mail email address and password
- Click "Next" and then "Sign in"
- Mac:
- Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts
- Click the "+" button to add a new account
- Select "Other Mail Account" and enter your Sky Mail email address and password
- Click "Create"
