A blast from the past!

Embarq was a telecommunications company that was acquired by CenturyLink in 2011. As a result, Embarq email addresses were migrated to CenturyLink email addresses.

If you had an Embarq email address, you may have received an email notification from CenturyLink with instructions on how to update your email address to a new CenturyLink email address. The notification would have included a temporary password and instructions on how to change your password and set up your new email account.

If you're still having trouble accessing your email account, you can try the following:

1. Go to the CenturyLink website and click on "Email" or "My Account" to access your email account.
2. Enter your Embarq email address and the temporary password provided in the notification email.
3. Follow the prompts to change your password and set up your new email account.
4. If you're still having trouble, you can contact CenturyLink's customer service department for assistance.

It's worth noting that CenturyLink has since merged with Level 3 Communications and is now known as Lumen Technologies. However, the email migration process was completed in 2011, so your Embarq email address should still be accessible as a CenturyLink email address.
