Pop3 settings for hotmail
Here are the POP3 settings for Hotmail:
Incoming Mail Server:
- Server: pop3.live.com
- Port: 995
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Username: Your Hotmail email address (e.g. [yourname]@hotmail.com)
- Password: Your Hotmail email password
Outgoing Mail Server:
- Server: smtp.live.com
- Port: 587
- Encryption: TLS
- Username: Your Hotmail email address (e.g. [yourname]@hotmail.com)
- Password: Your Hotmail email password
Additional Settings:
- Leave a copy of messages on the server: Yes (if you want to keep a copy of your emails on the server)
- Remove messages from server: No (if you want to keep a copy of your emails on the server)
- Authentication: Password
Note:
- Hotmail uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication, so you may need to use an app password if you're using a third-party email client.
